| Conditions | The exam final grade includes the paper (graded on ten) and the oral exam (graded on ten) on equal footing. A minimum total grade of 10 is the minimum required to pass the exam. |

| Additional information | The individual paper will be presented and discussed in classroom with the teaching staff and the students to provide feedback ahead of the finalisation for the purposes of examination. |

| Prerequisites |

- The student should have knowledge of European Union Law and be able to navigate European Union legislation and judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
- The student should have basic knowledge of European Union Environmental Law.
- The student should have knowledge of Public International Law principles and sources of law. |

The course does not utilise a textbook. However, ad hoc reading materials will be assigned for each class/tutorial. These readings are complementary to the coursebook including all the relevant legislation and case law.
The course programme will include (if possible) a visit and hosted lecture/tutorial at the European Parliament in Brussels. |
